Sony Women in Technology Award with Nature 2027

The Sony Women in Technology Award with Nature 2027 recognises and celebrates women spearheading advancements in technology. The programme aims to spotlight achievements, inspire the next generation of women in technology, and identify three inspirational women across the field, with at least one winner in the early-career category each year. Finalists will be featured on Nature.com and invited to an award ceremony in Tokyo, with a substantial prize awarded to the recipients.

A $250,000 prize is available; three recipients will each receive a significant prize to advance their research; finalists will be featured on Nature.com; recipients will be invited to the award ceremony in Tokyo.

Open to full- or part-time women researchers within the field of technology, affiliated with a university, research institute, or industry, regardless of PhD requirement.
