Yale Young Global Scholars

The Yale Young Global Scholars program is a two-week summer academic program for high school students aged 16–18. It offers tracks in science & technology, law & economics, and global challenges, with participants living on Yale University’s campus and engaging with peers from around the world. The program provides substantial financial aid and scholarships to improve accessibility, and about 1,900 students are admitted annually from a large applicant pool.

High school students aged 16–18 by the program start date, enrolled in high school at the time of application, from any academic background with interest in the tracks.

Submit an online application via the YYGS portal; apply by the Early Action or Regular Decision deadlines; fee waivers may be available for eligible applicants.
