International Excellence Scholarship 2026

The International Excellence Scholarship is a merit-based undergraduate scholarship at the University of St Andrews for international students starting in the 2026 academic year. It recognizes gifted overseas students with academic excellence and leadership potential, and recipients will serve as Student Ambassadors, taking part in outreach activities and representing the university at events.

Scholarship value; paid annually for the full duration of the undergraduate program; opportunities to serve as a Student Ambassador and participate in outreach activities.

Students with an overseas fee status who are applying for a full-time undergraduate degree starting in 2026 and are new entrants in their first year (including direct entry into year two), with proven academic excellence and leadership/motivation.

Apply for admission to a full-time undergraduate program at St Andrews, then complete the International Undergraduate Scholarships application with required references and motivation statement.
