Marshall Scholarships

The Marshall Scholarships provide full financial support for American graduates to study at UK universities. The program enables exceptional U.S. students to pursue postgraduate study with comprehensive funding and access to an alumni network. It is one of the most prestigious scholarships available to U.S. citizens.

Full tuition fees, living stipend, round-trip airfare, visa costs, NHS access, and access to the alumni network.

Applicants must be U.S. citizens; hold a bachelor’s degree from an accredited U.S. four-year college/university by September 2026; have a minimum GPA of 3.7 (non-rounded); have graduated after April 2023; not have previously studied for a degree in the UK.

Submit an online application via the Marshall Scholarship portal, obtain endorsement from the candidate's U.S. undergraduate institution, provide required essays and recommendations, and have the application endorsed and submitted by the university before the institutional deadline.
