FG Offers Undergraduate Scholarships at N450,000 and PhD Scholarships at N750,000 as Part of N6 Billion Program

The Federal Government of Nigeria has announced a reform of its scholarship program as part of a N6 billion package for the 2025–2026 school year. The initiative increases annual scholarship awards to N750,000 for PhD students, N600,000 for Master’s students, and N450,000 for undergraduates, HND, and NCE students, with the aim of broadening access and prioritising STEM and vocational disciplines.

Financial support in the form of scholarship awards at specified annual amounts.

Eligible applicants are Nigerian students enrolled in PhD, Master’s, undergraduate, HND or NCE programs, with priority given to STEM and vocational disciplines.
