Caribbean Biodiversity Fund Worldwide 2026

Information

The Caribbean BluEFin Call for Proposals 2026 invites applicants to submit innovative Blue Economy projects that strengthen nature-based economic opportunities while delivering biodiversity, climate resilience, and socio-economic benefits. It is run by the Caribbean Biodiversity Fund (CBF) and implemented with support from the Global Environment Facility (GEF) and the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP). Selected projects receive grant financing.

Benefits

Grant funding of USD 200,000 – 250,000 per project; potential for co-financing and support through the selection process.

Eligibility

Funding is available for projects implemented in eligible Caribbean BluEFin countries: Dominican Republic, Grenada, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, and The Bahamas. Multi-country projects are allowed if funding is for the eligible countries.

Submit a completed Project Proposal and Annex A Budget, plus organizational documents via email to the provided address.
