Kwame Karikari Fact-checking and OSINT Fellowship 2026

A two-track, six-month fellowship for journalists and researchers focused on fact-checking and open-source intelligence (OSINT). The program provides practical OSINT training, opportunities to publish reports, and support for newsroom verification capacity, with a regional professional network across West Africa. It aims to institutionalize fact-checking and build knowledge around information disorder in Africa.

Practical OSINT training with hands-on coaching, mentoring from DUBAWA and DAIDAC teams; opportunity to have reports published on media platforms and DUBAWA channels; newsroom capacity-building support; regional professional network across West Africa; multi-platform visibility and engagement with media literacy.

Open to full-time journalists from Nigeria, Ghana, Sierra Leone, Liberia, or The Gambia, with an interest in OSINT investigations and fact-checking.
