Women and Girls in Astronomy Program (WGAP) 2026

The Women and Girls in Astronomy Program (WGAP) 2026 provides mini-grants of 2,000 USD to fund projects that use astronomy as a tool for development and support women, girls, and sub-represented genders in astronomy and STEM. Projects must align with NA-ROAD’s strategic goals and take place in Canada, the United States, the Caribbean, Mexico, or Greenland, with potential to contribute through various perspectives including scientific, social, technical, cultural, and artistic avenues. Successful projects will join the WGAP network.

Mini-grant funding (2,000 USD) and membership in the WGAP network.

Everyone is welcome to apply for funding; proposed projects should address barriers faced by women, girls, and underrepresented genders in astronomy and STEM while promoting equity, access, and meaningful participation.
