Information

Ignite Challenge 4.0 is a grant-based acceleration program supporting scalable ventures in Rwanda’s agrifood value chains. It offers equity-free funding, tailored technical assistance, market linkages, and a Demo Day to showcase investment-ready ventures. The program targets high-impact startups and SMEs with operations in Rwanda and a focus on job creation, especially for young women.

Benefits

Equity-free funding up to $24,000 per venture, five months of curated technical support, coaching and masterclasses, investment-readiness activities and a Demo Day, plus market linkages and visibility with investors and stakeholders.

Eligibility

Business must be registered with at least 2 years of operation in Rwanda, have a revenue-generating business with market traction, be a team of at least three full-time members including the founding team, at least 50% of the founding/senior management must be from Rwanda/East Africa, and have existing key operations in Rwanda.
