Internews’ Earth Journalism Network (EJN) Worldwide 2026

Information

Internews’ Earth Journalism Network (EJN) offers grants to three to four media organizations in low- and middle-income countries to support projects that strengthen media reporting on biodiversity issues. Grants are worth 10,000-12,000 EUR each, and selected organizations will also receive mentoring support from experienced reporters and editors. The initiative aims to increase the quality and quantity of biodiversity stories and build journalists’ capacity to cover biodiversity issues.

Eligibility

Media organizations in low- or middle-income countries are eligible; applications from journalist networks, media organizations, civil society organizations or academic institutions are considered, with preference for professional journalists, media organizations and journalism schools. Applications must be in English.
