Information

A ten-week full-time summer research internship that places undergraduate students in biomedical research projects across MHIR research centers. Participants work 40 hours per week at MaineHealth research locations in the Portland, ME area and follow a curriculum of research training, professional competencies and career development. The program includes weekly research lectures, professional development and networking activities, and concludes with final presentations and a poster session. Students are responsible for transportation and housing, and receive a hourly stipend.

Application

Two-part online application: complete the MaineHealth Employment Application and the supplemental MaineHealth Summer Undergraduate Research Internship Program Application; submit resume, transcript, grades from recent science classes, a 500-word personal statement and short-answer responses. Incomplete applications are not reviewed.
