MIT PRIMES is a research program for high school sophomores and juniors living within driving distance of Boston that matches students with mentors for mathematical research projects. The program focuses on mathematics and computational biology and offers in-person mentorship for local students with teleconferencing for non-local communication. Students may apply concurrently to PRIMES Circle and PRIMES; applications are considered for MIT PRIMES first.

Eligibility

High school juniors and sophomores (including home schooled) residing in the United States are eligible; local students live within driving distance from Boston and meet mentors in person while non-local students communicate via teleconferencing.
