WiSe-Cryst 2026 Winter School on Electron Crystallography

A winter school focused on electron crystallography with foundational lectures and hands-on data collection training at electron microscopes. It is intended to train researchers in techniques and applications for structural characterization of nanocrystalline materials. The programme combines instrument-based experiments, software tools and advanced data processing modalities. Lecturers and tutors will support participants throughout the school, including assistance for setting up experiments in home labs.

Foundational lectures, hands-on data collection training at various TEMs, presentations of software tools and data processing methods, and tutorial support from specialist lecturers and tutors.

Target audience includes electron microscopists, X-ray crystallographers, physicists, chemists and biologists; participants are expected to be at the level of PhD students and postdocs.
