UdeM exemption scholarship for international students

Scholarship Partially funded
Université de Montréal Canada 2026

Information

A tuition exemption scholarship program for international students admitted to Université de Montréal degree programs. It provides a reduction or complete waiver of the additional tuition fees normally charged to international students, with specific rates for undergraduate and graduate studies. Scholarship level is determined by academic excellence as assessed from admission transcripts. Current students maintain their acquired rights.

Benefits

Exemption from part or all of the additional tuition fees for international students; undergraduate levels A (CAD 481.20/credit) and B (CAD 229.32/credit) listed with per-session and per-year totals; graduate partial exemptions and a complete waiver option with specified per-credit and per-session amounts for 2026–2027.

Eligibility

Intended for international students (except French and French-speaking Belgian students). Candidates must have received an offer of admission to a UdeM study program, hold valid study authorizations (CAQ and study permit) for all sessions, be continuously enrolled full time for their program, and not benefit from another form of tuition fee exemption.

Application

Apply for admission to a UdeM degree program via the university admissions application; candidates are automatically evaluated for the exemption scholarship based on admission transcripts and will be notified by email after accepting an offer.
