Global Summer School on Climate Change and Human Mobility

A four-day selective research summer school on Climate Change and Human Mobility hosted by the School of Public Policy at Chiang Mai University in collaboration with partner institutions. It runs in Bangkok, Thailand from 4 May to 8 May 2026 and includes lectures, policy discussions, field visits, and manuscript development workshops. The programme is aimed at students, researchers and early-career professionals with research interest in climate mobility and related policy topics. The programme is described as fully funded, covering airfare, accommodation and meals.

Round-trip economy airfare, accommodation in Bangkok for the duration, meals, access to expert-led lectures, workshops and seminars, field visits, and networking opportunities.

Open to all nationals; applicants include PhD students, postdoctoral researchers, early-career faculty and independent researchers with research interest in human mobility, climate change and humanitarian studies, and must commit to in-person participation in Bangkok during the school dates.
