Information

The IEEE Computer Society Global Student Challenge is a student team competition to create solutions for real-world programming and data analytic problems. Teams of up to two students work on three challenge prompts provided by academic and industry teams, with a virtual Phase I and an in-person Phase II presentation for finalists. Final Phase II presentations take place at the IEEE Annual Computer Security Applications Conference (ACSAC) in Los Angeles.

Benefits

Monetary prizes (total US$5,000), one year of IEEE and IEEE Computer Society student membership for winners, travel and lodging support for finalists to present in person.

Eligibility

Students participate in teams of up to two; at least one member must be available for the in-person Phase II presentation in December; teams may have an optional professional mentor.

Application

Register during the registration window and submit solutions for all three challenge prompts for Phase I; teams of up to two students apply and may include an optional professional mentor.
