Saudi Government Scholarships

A fully funded scholarship programme run by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for international students to study at public universities. It is open at undergraduate, master’s and PhD levels and covers tuition and living-related support. Scholarships are offered as internal (for non-Saudis residing in the Kingdom) and external (for non-Saudis outside the Kingdom). Benefits include a monthly living allowance, health insurance, accommodation and travel support.

Tuition fees paid, monthly living allowance, accommodation, health insurance, arrival financial reward, and annual travel tickets.

Non-Saudi international students (external) and non-Saudi residents in the Kingdom (internal) who meet the same admission requirements as Saudi students; required language proficiency in English or Arabic as per program/university; age limits: 17–25 for undergraduate and Arabic language programs, up to 30 for Master’s programs, up to 35 for PhD programs. Applicants must provide attested academic documents, police clearance, pass a medical exam, must not have previously received another Saudi scholarship, and female students must meet mahram regulations where applicable.

Apply through public Saudi universities according to their admission opening dates, via the Saudi Cultural Attaché in your country, or via the Embassy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia; internal applicants must obtain sponsor approval and have valid residency.
