Information

A 9-week, in-person research internship at the Language and Cognitive Development Lab, providing hands-on experience in cognitive science research including data collection, stimuli creation, reading literature, participant testing, and data processing. Interns meet with lab personnel and the professor, attend weekly lab meetings and reading groups, and present on assigned projects. The program runs weekdays for 30 hours per week and includes opportunities to test participants at local schools and children’s museums (pending regulations). A limited stipend is available to some applicants to offset living costs.

Eligibility

Designed for undergraduates, graduating seniors, and recent graduates interested in graduate work in psychology, cognitive science, linguistics, or related fields; international applicants are welcome but the lab cannot sponsor visas. High school students are not accepted.
