Travel Grants

Travel grants are offered to help Graduate Students and Early Career Professionals present an accepted paper or poster at the 2026 AAEA Annual Meeting. Grants are intended to help defray housing and transportation costs associated with attending the meeting in Kansas City, MO from July 26 to July 28, 2026. Both domestic and international travel grants are available and award amounts depend on the number of applications received. Applicants must meet membership and presentation requirements to be considered.

Monetary travel grant to assist with housing and transportation costs (amount varies).

Graduate Students or Early Career Professionals who are 2026 AAEA members as of the application deadline, are actively engaged in agricultural or applied economics fields, have insufficient institutional funding, and have a paper/poster/session accepted for presentation at the 2026 Annual Meeting.

Individual applicants submit an online application including contact and institution details, degree program and professional rank, summary of research interests, applicant statement (500 words), proposed travel budget, and a nomination/support letter certifying financial need; only two applications per employing institution will be considered.
