About this opportunity
A multi-week summer academy introducing participants to the full data science pipeline, including Python, Jupyter Notebooks, data visualization, inference, prediction and a capstone project using real-world data. The program includes lectures, labs, guest speakers, excursions and sessions with UChicago admissions counselors. It is taught by preceptors and faculty from the University of Chicago Data Science Institute. The program is aimed at current high school students and culminates in group and individual project work.

Eligibility
Available for current high school students who are at least 15 years old; applicants should have a strong background in math (minimum Algebra I), statistics and coding and be comfortable with English; applicants must be Hong Kong residents or be eligible to study in Hong Kong during the program period.
