Italian Government Scholarships for International Students 2026-2027

A scholarship programme offered by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Italy for international students for the 2026-2027 academic year. Scholarships provide a monthly stipend and are available for master's programmes, advanced artistic education, doctoral programmes, research projects and intensive Italian language and culture courses. Candidates must apply online through the Study in Italy portal. Detailed calls and application instructions are published on the Study in Italy website.

Monthly stipend of 1,200 €.

International students applying to (or admitted to) master's programmes, advanced arts/music/dance education (level 1 and 2), doctoral programmes, research projects, or intensive Italian language and culture courses (Italofonia).
