About this opportunity
The Ireland-SIDS Fellows Programme offers fully funded postgraduate study opportunities in Ireland for researchers from Small Island Developing States. It supports the completion of master’s level study starting in the 2027/2028 academic year, with a focus on leadership, SDGs, and capacity-building in the Fellows’ home countries. The award covers tuition, visa, insurance, travel, and living accommodations, along with additional allowances and opportunities for training and volunteering.

Eligibility
Applicants must be nationals of eligible SIDS countries, resident in an eligible SIDS country, have a bachelor’s degree (awarded 2015 or later) with GPA at least 3.0, not already hold a master’s degree, and must commence a new master’s programme in Ireland no sooner than August 2027.
