University of Pretoria MasterCard Foundation Scholars Program (MCFSP) 2027

The University of Pretoria MasterCard Foundation Scholars Program provides scholarships and wraparound support for high-achieving African students pursuing undergraduate and postgraduate degrees. It includes financial support, visa assistance, mentoring and campus services, as well as internships and leadership development opportunities. The program is implemented in partnership with the Mastercard Foundation to support academically talented individuals facing economic and social barriers.

Tuition coverage, monthly stipend, start-up funds, visa fees, housing, student health insurance, books and supplies, and a one-time Africa-based internship; access to mentoring, counselling and dedicated student services.

Open to candidates from Africa seeking undergraduate or postgraduate (Honours and Masters) degrees, who demonstrate financial need and meet academic requirements.
