The Africa CDC Short-term Bioinformatics Fellowship training program offers short fellowships to public health practitioners in African Union member states to enhance bioinformatics capacity through intensive short courses for genomic data analysis and public health decision-making.

Benefits

Hands-on bioinformatics training, skills development in genomic data analysis, strengthening of professional network and public health impact involvement.

Eligibility

Public health practitioners from national public health institutions and national reference labs in African Union member states with a bachelor’s or advanced degree in a relevant field and demonstrated interest in bioinformatics and public health; below 35 years of age.
