The Australia Awards Africa Scholarship Program 2026 for Master’s Degree study in Australia

The Australia Awards Africa Scholarship Program provides fully funded postgraduate scholarships for citizens of eligible African countries to study for a Master’s degree in Australia. The program is offered by the Australian Government and aims to develop leadership and capacity to support inclusive development in Africa.

Return air travel, establishment allowance, full tuition fees, living expenses, overseas student health cover, fieldwork allowance and additional support as specified.

Candidates must be citizens of eligible African countries, be at least 25 years old on 1 February 2026, have a minimum of 5 years of postgraduate work experience in a field related to their study, be employed at the time of applying, and meet English language requirements.
