About this opportunity

Postgraduate scholarships in South Africa funded by Canon Collins Trust in partnership with Ros Moger and Terry Furlong group. The program supports study in three areas: Justice (including Climate Justice, Law, Economics and Politics), Education policy and practice, and Humanities (Literature, History, Anthropology and the Arts) for study at a South African university starting in 2023. The scholarship provides funding for up to two years for Masters and three years for PhD, with amounts ranging from R20,000 to R100,000, and can support full-time, part-time, or distance learning programmes. Applicants are automatically considered for the Ros Moger Terry Furlong scholarship as well.

Eligibility

Applicants must be nationals of, or have refugee status in, Angola, Botswana, Lesotho, Malawi, Mozambique, Swaziland, or Zambia; be normally resident in one of these countries; hold a good first degree (minimum second class, upper division or equivalent) or be about to graduate in the year of application; and be studying or applying to study at a South African university.
