About this opportunity
Code for Africa (CfA) offers stipend-based WanaData Fellowships to fourteen African data journalists and data scientists to empower youth voices and promote a secure digital space through gender projects. The fellowship includes a monthly stipend, hands-on data tools and training, mentorship, and ongoing support from CfA’s team.

Eligibility
Be a registered WanaData member with at least one year of experience as a data scientist or data storyteller and have a portfolio of published work; ideally based in the Sahel region, neighbouring West Africa, or the Horn of Africa.
