Just Futures Initiative Grant

Borealis Philanthropy has launched the Just Futures Initiative to provide grants supporting grassroots organizations, coalitions, and collaborative formations working to advance community safety, democracy protection, civil rights, and belonging across the United States. The program offers flexible general operating support with funding streams including standard grants and strategic collaborative grants, and it operates on a rolling application basis while funds remain available.

General operating support for 12 months; potential for strategic collaborative grants and ecosystem-building opportunities.

Organizations must be a U.S.-based or U.S. territory-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit or fiscally sponsored project and have an annual operating budget generally below USD 2 million, working directly with communities most affected by criminalization.
