Disability Rights Fund 2026 Grant Round for Sub-Saharan Africa

The Disability Rights Fund launches a 2026 grant round to support organizations led by persons with disabilities in Sub-Saharan Africa. The program offers funding streams designed for local, coalition, and national actors to strengthen advocacy, policy engagement, and disability inclusion. Applications begin with a Letter of Interest (LOI), with forms available in multiple languages, and successful applicants progress to a full proposal.

Financial support through three grant streams to strengthen advocacy campaigns, policy engagement, and organizational capacity; potential funding for coalition-building and national-level advocacy.

An applicant organization must be headquartered and primarily operating in a Sub-Saharan African country targeted by DRF, be a registered organization of persons with disabilities (OPD) or operate under a fiscal sponsor that is an registered OPD, and propose a project aligned with the CRPD.

Submit a Letter of Interest (LOI) to initiate the process; LOIs are available in multiple languages before invited full proposals.
