Open Call for Proposals: Strengthening Canada’s Skills with PIAAC Research 2025

This is a competitive open call for proposals to fund research projects that use Canada’s PIAAC data to inform policies, programs, and practices. It invites researchers and organizations across Canada to submit proposals for policy-relevant research aiming to deepen understanding of adult skills and labour-market outcomes. Funding supports projects that build national research capacity and mobilize findings for action.

Project funding to cover core research costs and personnel; potential capacity-building and impact on policy and practice.

Applications may be submitted by a sole organization or a partnership/consortium of organizations, including post-secondary institutions, not-for-profit research centers, or for-profit organizations (project undertaken at cost, with no profit).
