Native American Scholarship Program 2026–2027

The Native American Scholarship Program (NASP) is a scholarship initiative by the New Mexico Gas Company (NMGC) to financially support Native American students in New Mexico pursuing higher education. It offers broad access with flexible eligibility, including options for full-time and part-time students across various fields, including trades and technical training. For 2026–2027, twenty scholarships worth $3,000 each will be awarded, with renewal opportunities available for up to three years.

Native American residents of New Mexico who are enrolled members of a New Mexico Pueblo, Tribe, or Nation, and who are either high school seniors, GED holders, or current post-secondary students.

Applications are submitted online through the NMGC-NASP platform; selections are made by the NASP Committee.
