Competitive Grants (Community Foundation of Acadiana)

The Competitive Grants program provides structured grant awards to nonprofit organizations serving communities in Acadiana. Two tracks are available: Affiliate Grants up to $5,000 for localized projects and The Fund for Acadiana Grants up to $15,000 for broader initiatives, aiming to strengthen capacity and address local needs in education, health, community development, and more.

Financial support of grants, community recognition within the philanthropic ecosystem, and capacity development through the competitive process.

Eligible applicants are nonprofit organizations with 501(c)(3) status located within CFA’s eligible parishes, proposing projects that align with the parish affiliate or Acadiana focus area.

Submit an Eligibility & Interest Form by May 14, 2026; if invited, submit a full proposal between June 22 and July 23, 2026; decisions announced by September 2026.
