Al Qasimi Foundation Doctoral Research Grants 2026: Fully Funded Research Opportunities in the UAE

The Al Qasimi Foundation invites high-achieving PhD students to apply for Doctoral Research Grants that fund the field research phase of a doctoral dissertation in the UAE, with a focus on Ras Al Khaimah. Grants cover field research-related expenses, including airfare, furnished accommodation for up to 12 months, a living stipend, and research support. Recipients are expected to deliver a final report, policy brief, and scholarly or public-facing outputs, and may present findings to the local research community.

Be a current PhD student at an accredited university in good academic standing; have English language proficiency if needed; have completed PhD coursework and be ready to conduct field research; have an approved research proposal; obtain IRB approval; include Ras Al Khaimah or the UAE as part of the research site; and research focus should align with policy-oriented topics (business, marketing, engineering, IT, lab-based sciences, or medical degrees are excluded).
