UN Women invites civil society and women’s rights organizations to submit proposals under WYDE to advance women’s full and effective political participation. Grants total about USD 1,000,000, with awards of USD 45,000–150,000 for 12–22 months, focusing on leadership capacity, mentorship, social norms change, and feminist movement strengthening.

Benefits

Funding per award ranges from USD 45,000 to USD 150,000. Projects are 12–22 months in length; agreements signed by 28 February 2026; all projects end by 31 December 2027.

Eligibility

Legally registered non-governmental organization with 3+ years of experience in women’s leadership/political participation; audited financial statements for the last 3 years; single-country implementation in an ODA-eligible country; acceptance of UN Women terms and anti-fraud standards; no sanctions or ongoing investigations.
