Margaret McNamara Educational Grants

Margaret McNamara Educational Grants (MMEG) provide postgraduate study funding for women from developing and middle-income countries who plan to pursue a degree with the aim of improving the lives of women and/or children. Grants support study in the USA or Canada and include a full sponsorship along with a monetary award of $15,000. The program covers postgraduate and certificate-level study across disciplines including formal, applied, and social sciences.

Full sponsorship for the duration of study; monetary award of $15,000.

Applicants must be self-identifying women, at least 25 years old at the deadline, nationals of countries on the MMEG eligibility list (with some exceptions), enrolled at an accredited in-person academic institution, plan to be enrolled for at least one full academic semester after the award, and plan to graduate no more than three years after the award.
