Curtin Staff Funded Grant

The Curtin Staff Funded Grant provides financial assistance to students from a low socio-economic background who are experiencing financial hardship while enrolled in undergraduate study at Curtin University. It offers a one-off cash payment to help cover education-related expenses and is funded by Curtin staff. The grant is awarded based on need and eligibility criteria set by Curtin University.

Cash payment (AUD 500–2,500) to assist with educational expenses; may support related study costs.

Eligible applicants must be undergraduate students enrolled at Curtin University in Semester 2, 2020, from a low socio-economic background and demonstrate financial hardship; applicants must be Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident, Australian permanent humanitarian or New Zealand citizen, and not in receipt of other scholarships.

Submit an online application via the Curtin Scholarships channel; complete the online form, submit, and await assessment outcomes within 6–8 weeks of the closing date.
