Bourse d'Études du Gouvernement Estonien Pour Étrangers

The Estonian Government Scholarship for Foreigners supports international students, researchers and teachers to study or conduct research at Estonian higher education institutions. The scholarship is available for master’s and PhD studies across all fields offered by the host institutions and for bachelor’s studies in language and culture-related fields. It provides monthly stipends and does not cover all costs, with the program suited for exchange or degree-seeking study in Estonia.

Monthly stipend; housing and transport coverage; stipend available for up to 12 months (10 months in the final nominal year for some cases); applicable to exchange and degree-studying periods as approved by the hosting institution.

Open to international students, researchers and teachers; master and PhD candidates may study in all host-institution fields, while bachelor's studies are allowed only in language and culture-related fields. Applicants must come from eligible countries as defined by the program groups A and B and must meet host-institution admission requirements.

Submit an online application with required documents (application form, motivation letter, passport/ID copy, admission letter from the hosting institution) through the program's application system.
