UNESCO Silk Roads Youth Research Grant

The UNESCO Silk Roads Youth Research Grant is a fully funded grant programme that supports research proposals by postgraduate researchers on topics related to the Silk Roads’ shared heritage, intercultural dialogue, and contemporary relevance. It awards 12 research grants of USD 10,000 per project, with proposals assessed for potential contributions to understanding Silk Roads interactions across cultures. Only one grant is awarded per project, and the funding is disbursed in two installments.

Applicants must be postgraduate researchers from any country and be 35 years old or younger at the time of application; the proposed research may be conducted by an individual or be part of a group project, but only one grant will be awarded per project.
