Cancer Education + Development Awards

The Cancer Education + Development Awards support initiatives that improve knowledge sharing, professional development, and community engagement in the cancer sector across New Zealand. The programme assists organisations and professionals who organise educational and research-focused activities related to cancer. Awards fund New Zealand-based conferences, training courses and community hui with direct relevance to cancer research, prevention, detection, treatment, end-of-life care, education or research communication.

Up to NZD 5,000 per award; support for general event expenses, speaker costs, training course delivery and community hui organisation costs.

Applicants must be organising a New Zealand-based conference, training course or community hui with direct relevance to cancer research, prevention, detection, treatment, end-of-life care, cancer education or cancer research communication.
