Represent ASM in your home country by becoming an ASM Country Ambassador. Ambassadors are senior scientists who support the advancement of microbiology in their home country by building relationships with key institutions and scientific societies and networking with local ASM members. The program offers a leadership role within ASM’s mission to promote microbial sciences worldwide.

Eligibility

Applicants must be current ASM members (or join/renew), hold a Ph.D. or equivalent terminal degree in a microbiology-related field (or a graduate degree with 10 years of post-academic experience), have at least 3 microbiology-related papers in the last 5 years, have intermediate to advanced English proficiency, and be able to commit at least 5 hours per month to ambassador activities.
