Tortuga Study Abroad Scholarship

The Tortuga Study Abroad Scholarship is a partially funded programme awarded twice a year to full-time undergraduate students who want to earn academic credit while studying abroad. Winners receive a $1,000 scholarship to help cover study abroad expenses and one Tortuga travel backpack, with funds sent to the winner’s study abroad program or university. The scholarship is funded by Tortuga, the travel backpack brand.

Applicants must be full-time undergraduate students in good academic standing at a four-year, degree-granting college or university in the U.S., and must have applied to or been accepted into a study abroad program that offers academic credit through their institution. U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or international students studying in the U.S. on a student visa are eligible.
