Birkbeck International Excellence Scholarship

The Birkbeck International Excellence Scholarship is a merit- and motivation-based tuition fee discount for self-funded international students applying to full-time undergraduate or postgraduate programmes at Birkbeck, University of London for Autumn 2026. It provides a reduction of first-year tuition fees, applied at enrolment, to help bridge the financial gap for international applicants. The award does not cover living expenses and is limited to one scholarship per student.

Direct tuition fee reduction in the first year; no repayment or service obligation; compatible with most programmes offered at Birkbeck.

Eligible applicants must hold an unconditional offer for a full-time undergraduate or postgraduate programme starting in Autumn 2026, be international (overseas) tuition-fee paying, be self-funded, ordinarily resident in an eligible country, and be enrolling at Birkbeck for the first time.
