Harvard University Environmental Fellows Program 2026

The Harvard University Environmental Fellows Program 2026 funds recent doctorate recipients to conduct independent environmental research at Harvard for two years, working with Harvard faculty across schools and departments. The program includes a co-curricular component and aims to build a diverse cohort of scholars addressing environmental issues.

Salary of $90,000 per year, health insurance eligibility, relocation reimbursement up to $2,500, annual travel/professional allowance up to $2,500.

Candidates for 2026 Environmental Fellowships should have received their terminal degree between May 2022 and August 2026. Fellows must have filed their dissertation before starting their appointment in September 2026.

Complete the online application form by December 1, 2025 and attach CV, detailed research proposal, publications/writing samples, and three letters of reference; a host letter is also required.
