Getty Conservation Guest Scholars Program 2026-2027

Getty offers a three-month residency for established scholars or professionals in the cultural heritage conservation field. Recipients conduct their own projects at the Conservation Institute, with access to Getty’s research resources and opportunities to engage with other scholars, fellows, and interns. The grant includes a stipend, housing, research assistance, travel stipend, and healthcare option.

Stipend of $21,500 for three months, housing, workstation, research assistance, travel stipend, healthcare option, access to Getty libraries and facilities

Applications are welcome from researchers and practitioners of all nationalities in conservation, historic preservation, heritage science, and related fields, with at least seven years of professional experience and a publication record.
