Getty Conservation Guest Scholars Program 2027–2028

The Getty Conservation Guest Scholars Program is a three-month residency for established researchers and practitioners in cultural heritage conservation to pursue focused research at the Getty Conservation Institute in Los Angeles. Residents work on independent projects and may utilize Getty research resources, with the program providing a stipend and housing support. It is designed to advance conservation research with practical value for professional practice.

Grant of USD 21,500 for the three-month residency; accommodation; workstation; travel stipend; research assistance; access to Getty resources; healthcare option; opportunities for professional networking.

Open to applicants of all nationalities with at least seven years of professional experience in cultural heritage conservation or preservation, and an established record of publications and contributions to the field.
