Tasmania International Excellence Scholarship (TIS)

The Tasmania International Excellence Scholarship (TIS) is offered by the University of Tasmania to international students with strong academic records. It provides a tuition fee reduction applied automatically for the standard duration of the chosen program. The scholarship supports students at undergraduate and postgraduate levels while excluding certain health programs. No separate scholarship application is required; eligibility is assessed during the university admission process.

Open to international students applying to the University of Tasmania for the first time to an eligible undergraduate or postgraduate program; applicants must demonstrate excellent prior academic results. Excluded programs include certain health-related degrees (Bachelor of Medical Science, Doctor of Medicine, Bachelor of Dementia Care and specialist health courses).

Submit a complete admission application to the University of Tasmania; the admission committee automatically assesses scholarship eligibility and notifies applicants with their offer.
