Danish Advanced Research Academy (DARA) Open Fellowships 2025

The Danish Advanced Research Academy (DARA) Open Fellowships provide fully funded PhD fellowships in Denmark across fundamental and applied research in bioscience, natural and technical sciences, and data/computer sciences. They are awarded to exceptional candidates who have an agreement with a Danish supervisor and aim to advance scientific progress through curiosity-driven research. Awardees join a community of PhD fellows and receive salary, tuition coverage, and a project supplement, along with educational and networking opportunities.

Salary up to 1,575,000 DKK; project supplement of 750,000 DKK; tuition fee coverage up to 240,000 DKK; access to educational and networking opportunities; international mentorship.

Open to all qualified candidates irrespective of age, gender, race, ethnicity, disability, nationality, or religion; applicants must be eligible for admission to a PhD program in Denmark and secure a principal supervisor.
