IJP Fellowships 2025 for Journalists from the Middle East & Germany

The IJP Fellowships 2025 offers a two-month travel and work scholarship for journalists from the Middle East and Germany to take part in an exchange with colleagues in the other region. Up to five journalists from the Middle East and Germany will participate, with funded travel and a stipend to cover travel, food and accommodation costs. The programme aims to foster dialogue and networking between media outlets in the region and in Germany.

Two-month travel and work scholarship in Germany (and exchange for German journalists to the Middle East), stipend money and travel allowance.

Citizens from Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Palestinian Territories, Israel and Germany; aged 21 or over; currently employed as a regular employee, trainee or journalist for media.

Submit a detailed CV with a passport photo, a recommendation letter from the head of department or editor-in-chief, samples of work, and demonstrate English proficiency; send to freiling@ijp.org and office@ijp.org.
