5th International Olympiad on Astronomy and Astrophysics for Juniors

The International Olympiad on Astronomy and Astrophysics for Juniors is an annual academic competition for junior students in astronomy and astrophysics. The fifth edition is a cohort-based olympiad bringing teams from different countries to compete in theoretical and practical astronomy tasks. The 2026 event is scheduled to take place in Ubon Ratchathani, Thailand from 1 to 8 November 2026.

Junior high school students under the age of 16 may participate; countries may pre-register teams.

Countries can pre-register by filling out a pre-registration form; the final registration form will be published later.
