AMSI Summer School 2027

The AMSI Summer School is an annual national training and networking event for honours and postgraduate students in the mathematical sciences, early career researchers and industry professionals. Summer School 2027 will be hosted by UNSW Sydney from 11 January to 6 February 2027, with virtual participation also available. Participants may study one or two of eight subjects taught by expert lecturers and, with permission from their home university, use a subject for credit. The program includes social and networking events, participant talks and a Careers Day.

Academic tuition in selected subjects (one or two subjects), opportunity to gain university credit (with home university permission), networking events, participant talks, Careers Day, and travel grants for eligible students.

Open to honours and postgraduate students in the mathematical sciences and related disciplines, early career researchers and industry professionals; applicants are encouraged to attend in person but may participate virtually. Travel grants are available to students from AMSI member universities; female, First Nations and regional, rural and remote students are encouraged to apply.
